I’ve been feeling for awhile that I’ve been growing away from “Our Life In Four Bags”. I began blogging as a way for friends and family to keep track of our adventures as graduate students and then as an Air Force family. It was something I did causally, irregularly, and just for fun.
Over the last year, the blog has become a place to process my grief journey as well as share my passion for authenticity. Writing and blogging has become an essential part of my routine and as I work towards writing my first book, I felt it was important to make the blog visually and functionally more professional.
So, as I close this chapter on my writing, blogging, and sharing life, would you continue to follow me over at BeckyLMcCoy.com? I appreciate your readership, encouragement, and support and hope that we can cultivate a community of authenticity over in the new space.

People often ask if I would have gotten pregnant had I known Keith and our baby would not meet. I’m glad God is in charge because he knew how much I needed this sweet girl and her contagious smile.
Red came for a sleepover. A couple months ago we relocated back near family, which means when my mom is traveling, her wonderful golden retriever Red gets to sleep over. Caleb likes having Red around, but Libby is in love … Continue reading →
It has been nearly two weeks since I finished the Navy-Air Force Half Marathon and I can’t quite seem to convince myself that it really happened. Sunday, September 20, 2015 was perfect weather for a race. The race started and … Continue reading →
It’s October, which means I’ve linked up with the 31 Days linky party sponsored by The Nester. This year, I’m still using the “real life” theme, but within the context of my new, real life. I thought the first of … Continue reading →
I enjoy hearing or reading people’s stories. When we give a story the time and space to be told, we are affirming the significance of the story teller’s experience. Sharing our stories is an incredible way to encourage each other … Continue reading →
